Hi all!
Just a quick note to let you know that I'm doing a prize giveaway over on my blog for pre-orders of the Creature Court trilogy which will be officially released to the public on 14 February.
Prizes include signed Cabaret of Monsters paperbacks, the Kathleen Jennings pin (including a brand new colour option, PLUM), deluxe prize packs and two felt mice which, I will admit, are leftover from the campaign because I am better at writing than counting.
There are many ways to enter the contest including Tweets, Instagram posts, Patreon patronage and pre-ordering/purchasing the paperbacks or ebooks of the trilogy -- and that includes you!
If your Kickstarter reward tier included the ebooks, hardbacks or paperbacks of the trilogy, then you are eligible for 1 entry to the contest per book, so send me an email reply to this update if you would like to be included. The contest is opt-in, so do let me know if you want to play.

The Last Creature Court Kickstarter Update

It's done!
I sent out all the paperback pre-orders this week, which means that all the Kickstarter rewards have been sent out. The paperback editions are gorgeous, very glossy and solid.
The last wave of other rewards went out in November and December -- though thanks to the varied nature of international post, many of you might not yet have received yours yet. Keep an eye out, and let me know if anything you're expecting has not arrived by February.
It's been so nice to see so many of you reacting to your rewards parcels on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, and reviewingCabaret of Monsters on GoodReads.
Thank you all so much for being part of this huge project. I'm delighted to have the Creature Court trilogy back in print, and with such gorgeous covers. It was also very exciting to return to this beloved world and write a new chapter in the lives of Poet and Livilla.
Cabaret of Monsters is now available for general sale in ebook and paperback. The full trilogy will be released in ebook and paperback in the middle of February for those of you who missed out during the Kickstarter campaign.

It's here! I'm so excited to finally be in the last phase of this Kickstarter project.
Over the last two months, Kathleen Jennings has produced some glorious silhouette art and textures for our Creature Court trilogy covers... and Cathy Larsen has created some wonderful text and colour design to pull it all together. (Scroll to the end of this post to see the pretty)
I'm officially going to print next month: which means that all outstanding rewards will begin to be rolled out -- including mice, pins, postcards and more. Also the ebooks of the trilogy which I know many of you are excited for!
Be patient with me, as I have over 200 physical parcels to send out as well as the electronic rewards, and I have to be methodical based on tier levels and efficiency... so don't panic if you see someone you know enjoying their goodies, and you don't have yours yet. My hope is to have absolutely everything sent out (except the paperback pre-orders) by the end of November... but I will let you know when the job is officially DONE.
Unless your tier includes personally signed copies of the hardbacks, books will be arriving separate to other rewards, so don't worry if you seem to be missing something!
ADDRESSES: I had to lock addresses on Backerkit when I posted out the novellas, but if your address has changed since June, please let me know in the next week or so!!! I haven't been able to figure out how to unlock all addresses but I can do it manually if I know you need to make a change. Books are Cooking

Hello Kickstarter Friends!
I know it's a while since you've heard from me but rest assured, Things Are Cooking at Creature Court headquarters.
Kathleen Jennings has been producing the most extraordinary artwork for the final trilogy -- she's in the process of the Book 3 cover right now! Cathy Larsen, our designer, is working on fonts and cover layout.
Those of you still waiting on rewards -- everything should be out to you before the end of the year, depending on how long it takes for these last stages of art processing to come together. I said December originally for most tiers, though personally I would like to have it all in the post by the end of November. We'll see.
I'm so excited to be sending the Creature Court books back into the world, especially as they will be so beautifully dressed! Proofing the manuscripts (which of course turned into a final final edit for me) has meant a chance to dip back into this world one more time.
Here's a hint of why I'm excited -- not the final rendering of the art, but a first glimpse at the piece that will be used on the cover of Power and Majesty.
